I am here to listen to you, to encourage you, to empower you and to assist you in finding your answers and your decisions.
My counselling approach has developed over 15 years of studying and client hours experience. It is informed by Existential, Psychodynamic, Cognitive Behavioural and Jungian psychotherapeutic approaches. It also incorporates Mindfulness and other Therapeutic Meditations.
My counselling approach is rooted in existential philosophy. It explores the meaning and purpose of your life, your sense of identity and your way of being in the world.
Existential therapy can help you gather the strength that you need to make a difficult decision or overcome a crisis in a way that will empower you.
Existential approach can facilitate balance among different aspects of your life. This approach to
therapy can help you find the courage to go in the direction of your dreams and accomplish them.
Psychodynamic therapy helps you understand where certain behaviours, feelings and thoughts stem from and through that not to unknowingly repeat your past patterns.
Jungian therapy and Shadow work helps you recognise parts of your self that are not acknowledged yet. This can facilitate the release from difficult relationships, the increase of self-awareness and empowerment, and the significant decrease of conflicts and arguments.
Cognitive Behavioural therapy challenges ways of thinking which can help you get unstuck from rumination and 'negative' thoughts in order to form more preferable thought and behaviour patterns.
Therapeutic Meditations including Mindfulness practices facilitate the ability to focus on the present moment. It can help you feel more alive and fulfilled, let go of past traumas, enjoy more your life and be able to relax a lot more. Some therapeutic meditations that I employ have the capacity to reprogram your way of experiencing (thinking and feeling) and help you experience different situations in your life.
Through our integrative work together you can process your difficult emotions and create more emotional balance.
